Financial Services are committed to improving the performance of payments to suppliers in accordance with the Best Value Performance Indicator 8 (BVPI8).
BVPI 8 is an indicator that measures how well the Council is doing in relation to the prompt payment of invoices for commercial goods and services. BVPI 8 measures the percentage of invoices paid by the Council within 30 days of receiving them.
How does Craven District Council perform?
- In 2004/2005 94.05% of invoices received were paid within 30 days
- In 2005/2006 94.49% of invoices received were paid within 30 days.
- In 2006/2007 96.94% of invoices received were paid within 30 days.
The target for 2007/2008 is that 97% of all invoices received by the Council will be paid within 30 days of receiving them.
