The Local Land Charges Service updates the Local Land Charges Register and provides details of any charges on property or land searched

A Local Land Charge is an entry on the Local Land Charges Register under an address of property or land, and is binding on successive owners.  The Register of Local Land Charges consists of twelve parts and contains some of the following charges/entries: 

  1. Planning decisions
  2. Listed Buildings
  3. Tree Preservation Orders
  4. Smoke Control Areas
  5. Environmentally Sensitive Areas
  6. Land Compensations
  7. Grants
  8. Ancient Monuments
  9. Enforcement Notices
