The Council has agreed with the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber a list of policies from the adopted Local Plan that are still valid, and should therefore be saved for 3 years beyond the commencement of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act in September 2007.  
 

These Saved Policies will form part of the LDF until they are replaced as additional LDF documents are adopted. 

A list of the saved policies, along with the letter from Government Office directing these policies to be saved, has been attached.  This list should be read in conjunction with the adopted Local Plan and only those policies outlined on the list should be used for planning guidance purposes.
