- ‘The Visitor’ – a free newspaper published by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority (circulation: 200,000) which is distributed locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Please note that only event entry forms received before 31st October of each year can be included.
- A network of 24hr touch-screen visitor information points located at Information Centres throughout the Dales.
- A variety of other event publicity and marketing channels.
Event entries are welcome all year round, whether large or small, but those received after the 31st October deadline can only be promoted via the website and network of 24hr touch-screen visitor information points.

Please note we can only accept information supplied on an official form. Blank forms can be photocopied or we can email an electronic copy. Please complete one form per event.
- A map of the area
In order to complete the form you will need to state the grid reference number for the location of the event - using the JPI grid reference system from the enclosed map. For example, an event in Kettlewell would have the grid reference E4.
If you have leaflets and/or posters for your event that you would like to have displayed in the Tourist Information Centres and National Park Centres, please contact the Centres directly. A list of the Information Centre is available to download.
