The Council is committed to ensuring the procurement of goods and services is undertaken in a fair and transparent manner and as efficiently as possible.

The Council's Procurement Strategy sets a clear framework for procurement throughout the Authority, which reflects the Council's Corporate Plan , provides a framework for best value/delivering value for money in the most cost effective and efficient manner and which stands alongside the Council's constitution and Contract Procedure Rules.
