The Highways Agency has indicated that it will be issuing a Holding Direction on the application because it wants more time to consider and respond to traffic and highway matters associated with the proposed development.  A Holding Direction means that the Council cannot determine the application and have to await receipt of the Highways Agency’s comments / submission.  The ordinary meeting of the Planning Committee listed for 30 June at 1.30pm will be going ahead as scheduled.”

All persons who have submitted representations on the Elseycroft application will be notified of the new date, time and venue for a special Planning Committee to consider the Elseycroft application in due course.
