 Education and Outreach Service
student drawing in galleryThe museum offers a range of educational services to meet the needs of different users. This includes both formal and informal education.

We welcome visits from schools and can provide a selection of hands on lessons linked to the National Curriculum. Download the schools’ newsletter to find out details of forthcoming projects at the museum.

We run events, workshops and activities for families, adults and special interest groups. Look at the Future Events ("See Also" on the right of the page) to find out more or download a copy of the events list.

Groups in Craven can borrow a series of outreach boxes and travelling exhibitions. Why not dip into a Discovery Box? These themed boxes contain museum objects and ideas for using them with your group. Our Memory Boxes are crammed full of objects, photos and other items designed to bring back memories of the past. Ideal for use with groups of older people.

Look out for travelling exhibitions from the museum at community venues across Craven.
