CRAVEN COMMUNITY SAFETY PARTNERSHIP
Craven Community Safety Partnership logo

We are a Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) dedicated to reducing crime, and the fear of crime, within the Craven district.

The Crime & Disorder Act 1998 required Local Authorities and the Police to establish a partnership to tackle issues of crime and disorder in their district.

Our partnership is called the Craven Community Safety Partnership and our executive board is made up of members from statutory, voluntary sector and business organisations in Craven.

The Partnership originally developed a three year plan for 2008 – 2011. A refresh has now been produced to cover the period 2010 – 11. The refresh plan aims to bring together the priorities which have been identified via the Joint Strategic Intelligence Assessment process and clearly identifies what work the partnership will deliver in the coming year in order to deliver improvements.
