In order to make this happen we work closely with a wide variety of organisations to carry out a range of activities. These include:-

1. Providing information and advice about sources of funding 
2. Giving grants through our community funding programme
3. Support projects which benefit our communities
4. Helping Craven communities write local action plans to identify their needs
5. Focusing support on those areas of Craven which have been identified as being in most need
6. Supporting the work of voluntary and community organisations by providing advice and information
7. Supporting the development of community venues including village halls so they can remain the hub of village and town life
8. Working with voluntary and community organisations to  build a development framework for the sector, and giving them the opportunity to influence the direction of policies and resources
9. Working in partnership with other organisations to address specific needs of our communities. Including transport, legal advice, crime reduction
