Each Pact area was required to submit a strategy outlining their delivery plan of the Priority 3 programme in their area to Government Office for approval before financial allocations could be made.
Craven put all of the North Craven communities together to form one 'Pact' area and a delivery strategy was written to include all of those areas, the one community within the South Craven area (Cowling) became the second 'Pact' area where a seperate delivery strategy was written.
The programme undertook a mid point review at the end of December 2003 when each Pact area was asked to write a new startegy outlining results from the first half of the programme and the delivery plan for the remaining three years of the programme.
