Bentham Town Council
An award of £500 towards purchasing and installing play equipment for Low Bentham Playing Field.  The original equipment had to be removed because it had become unsafe.  The field will be levelled and used for a play area, games area and meeting place.

St James' Church, Clapham
An award of £500 towards publishing a revised and updated history of the church as the present one is now dated and inaccurate.  New material will be sought from villagers.  The history will be a resource for visitors and sales will raise money for future projects.

Clapham cum Newby Parish Council
An award of £1,000 towards the cost of producing a Parish Plan as it is about 10 years since the last one was undertaken.

Burton Regeneration Group
An award of £500 towards replacement of their Sports Pavilion because the old one had to be demolished due to health and safety issues.  The new one will support many clubs/activities in the community.

Bentham Traders Association
An award of £1,000 towards the Christmas lights in Bentham town centre.  The present, very limited lights are no longer safe to use and the lighting scheme proposed will promote Bentham as a small shopping destination as well as brightening the lives of everyone who visits over Christmas.
