As funding is always limited, funders will want to make sure that their money goes to those projects which are really needed and will want you to show evidence that the project is needed by the wider community.

This could be a questionnaire, a village survey, information gathered at a ‘Planning for Real' Event, a public meeting or through other methods of consultation.
