Craven District Council has a Community Engagement Strategy, this is the Council's planned approach to how it will deliver community engagement over the next three years. Please To view this document please click Community Engagement Strategy 2009-2013.

Craven District Council has a 'Duty to Involve' and would like to involve local residents in key decisions about local services especially those groups who are often most dependent on services.

Craven District Council also has a 'Duty to Promote Democracy'. In order to have a say about Council decisions, policies and services it's important to know how to get involved in the political process and understand how the Council works.
