Overview and Scrutiny Call-In and Management Group
The Group makes recommendations to the Council on the detailed arrangements for the discharge of the overview and scrutiny function, and prepares the Council’s annual overview and scrutiny workplan. The Group allocates tasks within the workplan to either the Corporate or Services Sub-Group, and under the call-in procedure may also review or scrutinise decisions made by Committees but not yet implemented. The Overview and Scrutiny Groups can also be asked to look at other issues that affect the residents of the District but which are outside the control of the Council.
