Overview and Scrutiny Corporate Sub-Group
The Sub-Group carries out work allocated to it from the overview and scrutiny workplan by the Overview and Scrutiny Call-In and Management Group, and reviews or scrutinises decisions made or other action taken or proposed in connection with the discharge of any functions of the Council which, so far as possible, are related to the responsibilities of the Performance and Resources Committee. The Sub-Group also considers policy proposals assists in policy development and other matters which are referred to it, making recommendations to the appropriate committee. It may also take a lead on specific improvement objectives and on the overall monitoring and review of the Council’s performance.
