Standards Committee
The Standards Committee reviews and monitors the Council’s Protocols and Code of Conduct and at least every two years, reviews the Council’s Constitution. The Committee also deals with any matters referred to it by the Standards Board for England, or the Council’s Monitoring Officer which relate to the Conduct of Members and considers any complaints relating to a breach of the Members’ Code of Conduct which require local determination, in accordance with any Regulations and any guidance issued by the Standards Board. The Committee advises Parish Councils on the adoption or revision of their Codes of Conduct and advises on related matters.
