Members Allowance Scheme

The Council operates a scheme of Members Allowances. The scheme includes provision for a Basic Allowance, Special Responsibility Allowances, Dependant Carers Allowances, Travel & Subsistence Allowances (incl. Co-optees) and Allowances to the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Council.

The Council publishes details of amounts paid to Councillors along with details of attendance by Elected Members (Councillors) at Committee meetings on an annual basis.
