An incident can be reported in the following ways:

1. by telephone: 0845 300 99 23
2. via the Internet: www.riddor.gov.uk

A copy of any report received by both these media will be sent to the employer, to check its accuracy and veracity. This service will also provide a record for the employer, to maintain for 3 years under Regulation 7 of RIDDOR.
