Aireville Park dates back to the 1830s when it was part of the Aireville Estate owned by the Dewhurst family.
The Estate passed into the hands of Skipton Council in 1945 and it was at this time that some sporting facilities were included.
The park boasts:
- 14 hole Pitch and Putt course
- Wheelpark for BMX, skateboards and rollerblades
- Children’s play areas
- Multi Use Games Area, offering football, tennis, netball and basketball
- Craven Swimming Pool, facilities include: main and training pool, fitness centre, café and a sauna and steam room
Craven District Council have some exciting plans for the future of the park. Supported by the Friends of Aireville Park group, Craven District Council are currently working on a Heritage Lottery Fund/BIG Lottery Parks for People bid.
For more information please see the Aireville Park Lottery Bid page link on the left hand menu of this page.
Once the improvements are in place, we aim to achieve a Green Flag Award
