There are 3 ways to make a Local Land Charges Search.

1. LLC 1 Form only

2. LLC 1 & Con29

3. Personal Search

1. The form LLC1 only will reveal any information listed in the Local Land Charges Register
2. The forms LLC1 and Con29 will reveal information listed on the Local Land Charges Register and will supply answers to the standard questions on the Con 29 form and additional part 2 questions on the Con29, if asked.
3. Information on how to do a Personal Search is available.

Search documents LLC1 and Con 29, are available from any Law Stationer. The search documents can be sent to the Local Authority by

1. Post – Council Offices Granville Street Skipton  North Yorkshire BD23 1PS
2. Document Exchange – Dx Skipton 21767
3. Electronically – Through NLIS (National Land Information Service)

Please make sure you include the following with the search documents:

1. Original and duplicate copies of the search documents LLC1 and Con 29.
2. Two copies of an Ordnance Survey plan
3. On the LLC1 please give a full description of the property including the postcode.
4. On the Con 29 please complete boxes A B C D E F
5. A cheque made payable to Craven District Council with the correct fee (link to fees)
