The Local Development Scheme, or LDS, provides the starting point for the local community and other interested parties to find out what Local Development Documents are going to be produced, together with a programme for their preparation.
In effect, the Local Development Scheme is a timetable for the preparation of the Core Strategy and Site Allocations DPD.
The Council submitted the Local Development Scheme No.3, which covers the period 2009 - 2012 to the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber on the 11th September 2009 following approval by the Council's Policy Committee. Following this the Local Development Scheme No.3 came into effect on the 9th October 2009.
The LDS No.3 is available for public inspection via the link below, and at Council Offices during normal office hours.
