The Yorkshire and Humber Plan (Regional Spatial Strategy)
The Government published The Yorkshire and Humber Plan - The Plan (The Regional Spatial Strategy) in May 2008.  The Plan sets out the broad development strategy for the whole Region, and the Local Development Framework must conform to the policies contained within the Plan. It covers topics such as housing, economic development, transport, the environment and regeneration.

For further information and to view The Plan please click here to visit the Regional Assembly for Yorkshire and the Humber website.

The Yorkshire and Humber Assembly are now looking to update the Plan (2009 Update) to look at housing growth in the Region. The 2009 Update will test and explore the scale of growth, locations for growth and infrastructure needed to accommodate growth.

As part of this update the Yorkshire and Humber Assembly has produced a '2009 Update' webpage which highlights ongoing work. YHA will be using this webpage distribute information and provide updates on work streams and meetings.

The Yorkshire and Humber Assembly hopes to use this website to seek out the views, opinions and ideas of the Region to inform the review of the Plan.  To visit the website and get involved please follow the link below:
