Concessionary Rail Cards

Following the introduction of free local bus travel in April 2006, there has been a high uptake in concessionary bus passes . In addition a national concessionary fare scheme allowing free travel on local bus services across the whole country is due to be introduced from April 2008 and it is expected all existing passes will have to be replaced before that date. It has therefore been necessary to make some administrative savings in other areas and the decision has been taken to discontinue selling discounted rail cards .

The rail cards will still be available to buy from participating rail stations at the full price which is currently £20.
