Handling Sessions: handling sessions are led by a member of museum staff. They must be pre-booked by contacting the museum. Visits are free and preliminary teacher visits are advised.

Outreach boxes: these can be borrowed by schools or community groups based in Craven. They are free of charge and can be kept for up one month. Contact the museum to make a booking.

Travelling exhibitions: these are available to community spaces in Craven. This could include libraries, village halls, doctors surgeries and similar spaces. A member of museum staff may visit to assess the suitability of the space before a booking is made. Travelling exhibitions must be kept for a minimum of three months. The exhibition contents are covered by the museum’s insurance. The museum will arrange for delivery, installation and collection. Each exhibition is free standing and measures approx. 1 metre high and 70cm in diameter.
