Handling Sessions: handling sessions are led by a member of museum staff. They must be pre-booked by contacting the museum. Educations visits cost £1 per pupil for schools in craven and £2 per pupil for schools outside out catchment area.

Outreach boxes: these can be borrowed by schools or community groups based in Craven. They are free of charge and can be kept for up one month.

Travelling exhibitions: these are available to community spaces in Craven. This could include libraries, village halls, doctors surgeries and similar spaces. A member of museum staff may visit to assess the suitability of the space before a booking is made. Travelling exhibitions must be kept for a minimum of three months. The exhibition contents are covered by the museum’s insurance, however the site in which they are located must be covered by public liability insurance. The museum will arrange for delivery, installation and collection. Each exhibition is free standing and measures approx. 1 metre high and 70cm in diameter.
