The museum is on the first floor of the building. Unfortunately there is no lift. There is a stair-lift for visitors who are able to use one. This is located at the rear of the building. Car parking spaces for blue badge holders are nearby. There is gallery space on the ground floor which has level access.

The toilets, including  an accessible toilet, are on the ground floor of the Town Hall.
