Electoral Services consists of two elements - Elections and Electoral Registration.
Electoral Services are responsible for:
- Compilation and publication of the Register of Electors for the District
- Publishing monthly lists of additions and deletions from the Register of Electors
- Dealing with requests for postal and proxy votes
- Organising elections and referendums
- Assisting with boundary reviews
- Providing help and practical advice to all customers on the registration process and voting
