In accordance with statute, the Council is required to establish both a revenue and capital budget for each financial year.
Craven District Council is in the process of updating the Council's Budget, the Budget is still subject to the Recharges being finalised. When this piece of work has been completed a full explanation of the Council's Budget will be available here.
The Council set a net general fund revenue budget of £7,714,483 for the financial year 2012/13.

The draft Capital Programme for 2010/11 is estimated to cost £5.754 million. This includes provision for:
We want the public to be more involved in shaping where we spend our limited resources. In December 2012 we conducted a Budget consultation on the 2012/2013 Budget, setting out some key issues and inviting residents to give us their views on to help us make the right decisions when setting our spending plans.
