Details of expenditure with suppliers

The purpose of publishing Craven District Council's spending data is to enable greater transparency, greater engagement and greater efficiency by allowing inspection by residents, and re-use of the data in innovative applications, mashups, visualisations and analysis.

This information is published under the new Open Government Licence, which allows anyone - businesses, individuals, charities and community groups - to re-use public sector information without having to pay or get permission. It is a simple way for everyone to benefit from the increasing amount of government information published as part of the Prime Minister's Transparency agenda. See Transparency Agendas Online

The Government has made a commitment to publish all local government spending over £500 from January 2011.

This information will be published at the beginning of each month, and contain the details of expenditure to suppliers in the previous calendar month.

NB: Data that is over one year old has been removed from the website - but can be requested again via a Freedom of Information request. See Access to Information pages. Please ensure you quote "£500 Spending data" in the subject of your request
