Aireville Park
Aireville Park
Comprising of 20 acres of parkland, a swimming pool, a Multi Use Games Area, wheelpark and a pitch and putt course.
Aireville Park dates back to the 1830's when it was part of the Aireville Estate owned by the Dewhurst family. The estate passed into the hands of Skipton Council in 1945 and it was at this time that some sporting facilities were included.
Aireville Park is available for organisations to book for open air (outdoor events). You will need to comply with certain licensing regulations, these are available by contacting the Council (01756) 792805 or cravenpool@cravendc.gov.uk
The park boasts:
- 14 hole Pitch and Putt course
- Wheelpark for BMX, skateboards and rollerblades
- Children's play areas
- Multi Use Games Area, offering football, tennis, netball and basketball
- Craven Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre, facilities include: main and training pool, fitness centre, Coffee Lounge and Vending and health suite (sauna and steam rooms).
Aireville Park is also the home of the annual Skipton Triathlon (managed by Freebird Events), the largest pool based triathlon in Yorkshire and Humberside.
