MOT testing

Craven District Council's vehicle workshop is accredited to provide independent MOT testing and certification direct to the general public and businesses.

for the following vehicle types:

  • Class 4 (cars) - £49
  • Class 5 - £58.60
  • Class 7 (vehicles between 3000kgs and 3500kgs Gross Vehicle Weight) - £58.60.

We also carry out taxi testing and testing of singular items such as brakes and headlight alignment. Our facility is a non-repair testing station and we employ 5 qualified testers. Free re-tests are available within 14 days of a test.

Please contact us to arrange an appointment. The last MOT or taxi test takes place one hour before closing.
