Just buy a ticket from the bus driver and you're on your way

Remember to take ID to show you are under 18.

Craven Youth Council  have worked very hard over the last year to campaign for cheaper transport for young people in Craven. As a result of this campaign young people under the age of 18 will be able to travel on unlimited bus journey for just £1 per day.

Terms & conditions

This offer is open to anyone under 18. The £1 ticket will enable a passenger to travel anywhere in Craven for one day between 9am and midnight. Tickets can be bought from the bus driver. The purchaser may require ID. Participating bus operators are Dales Bus, First Travel, Kirby Lonsdale Coach Hire, Little Red Bus, Pennine, Pride of the Dales, Stagecoach, Transdev in Harrogate, Transdev in Keighley. The offer is available throughout August 2011.

How do I prove I am 18 or younger?

There are a number of ways of proving your age:

You can get an ID card called the ID4U card, which is also useful for other purchases as it incorporates the PASS hologram showing he card is recognised nationally. http://www.northyorkshire.police.uk/id4u

Other ID can include Citizencard www.citizencard.com/, driving licence or other official photo ID with your date of birth should be acceptable

What if I want to travel over a border?

You will need to buy a standard ticket from the driver.

What if my journey requires travelling on more than one bus run by more than one operator, will my ticket be valid on both buses?

As long as you are within Craven district you will be able to use your ticket on any participating bus operators' service.
