Excess Charge Notices

Excess Charge Notices (parking fines) - failure to observe the Pay & Display Regulations.

How do I dispute my Excess Charge Notice (ECN)?

If you wish to dispute an ECN, please write to us detailing your reasons and providing any supporting documentation such as valid tickets or copy of valid Blue Badge.

You can complete the word icon ECN Appeal Form [173kb] and email this to parking@cravendc.gov.uk. or post a written appeal to Parking Services, Craven District Council, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 1FJ. Please ensure you write the 7-digit number on all correspondence - this is found at the bottom of the ECN.

Whilst we consider an appeal the discounted payment period (if applicable) will be frozen from the date the appeal is received.  If the appeal is unsuccessful, the remainder of the 14-day discount period will be re-instated.
