Funeral - burials

Craven District Council manages Skipton Cemetery located at Waltonwrays Cemetery on Carleton Road in Skipton and Ingleton Cemetery. Services for burial can be held in the multi denominational chapel on site.

Both Cemeteries have the provision for burials of various faiths with a separate Muslim section at Skipton Cemetery.

The Chapel
The Chapel provides seating for up to 60 people. Services take 40 minutes which includes 10 minutes for entering and exiting the chapel. Services take place Monday to Friday, the first can start at 9.00am and the last at 3.00pm. Music is available or CDs from relatives can be played during the service. Families are advised to visit the chapel prior to confirming arrangements

There is a waiting room and toilets which include facilities for the disabled within the Chapel. A wheelchair is available for use if required.
