Sue Duncan Sue Duncan - Yorkshire Housing

I work as Community Development Adviser for Yorkshire Housing and as a housing provider, Yorkshire Housing are not just simply committed to providing quality homes but are also committed to working with our strategic partners and residents in our neighbourhoods to work together to create sustainable and vibrant communities.  Our involvement in the Dragons Den initiative is in line with our "Neighbourhood Promise", part of which is based upon holding events in our neighbourhoods in partnership with others to engage everyone in improvements and this youth initiative gives Yorkshire Housing the opportunity to support grassroots ideas from our young people which we are delighted to support.

Stacey Mitchell Stacey Mitchell - Craven Community Safety Partnership

I work as the Community Safety Officer for Craven. Based at Craven District Council I work alongside our partner agencies to prevent crime and disorder in our district. We plan our priorities each year to allow us to have a focus so we can measure our successes. Crime is low in Craven so a lot of our work is based around prevention. Young people sometimes struggle in rural areas often complaining of nothing to do. We support the Dragons Den project as it enables young people to use their imaginations and allows them to develop their ideas to projects that suit them whilst also learning about the communities where they live.
