The Three Peaks
Distance: 25 miles    Time 10 to 12 hours.
The famous challenge walk in the Yorkshire Dales taking in the three summits of Pen-y-Gent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Accessibility: The walk is approximately 23 miles in length depending on the slight variations available on the route. What is compulsory though is that you must climb Penyghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m).

Buckden Pike and Great Whernside

Distance 19.2 km (12miles)    Time 5-6 hours.
The walk is a classic dales journey from Kettlewell to the Pike and then on to Great Whernside ludes. On Buckden Pike there is a memorial to the Polish crew of an RAF Wellington bomber that crashed on the moor during a snowstorm in 1942.

The walk has an initial climb of over 350m from your starting out point at Bolton Abbey to the highest point of 485m at Simon's Seat
