The railways are a wonderfully scenic way to travel to and around Craven, linking some of its picturesque villages and historic market towns and offering uncompromised views of the fells.

following a scenic route through Airedale, visiting Skipton, Gargrave, into Ribblesdale via Settle and Horton In Ribblesdale passing by the Three Peaks Ingleborough- Whernside- Pen-y-ghent then crossing the famous Ribblehead Viaduct.

Train The Leeds Morecambe line, visiting Clapham and Bentham . An ideal way for walkers to access extensive walking routes in north and west Craven.
