Star organist comes to Skipton Town Hall

03/07/12 - Craven District Council is organising a summer Ballroom Dance.

Star organist, John Bowdler of the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, is playing at Skipton Town Hall on Saturday 14^th July.

The dance starts at 8pm, doors open 7.30pm through to 11.00pm with a licensed bar. Tickets are available from Tourist Information 01756 792809 at a cost of £7.50 per ticket in advance or £8.50 on the door.

Event organiser, Town Hall Manager Judith Riley comments. "Due to the success of the television series "Strictly Come Dancing ", the interest in Ballroom Dancing has really increased. Skipton Town Hall is a wonderful venue to hold this event so we are hoping it will be well supported. If there is enough interest it could lead to similar events in the future."
