Have your say about Craven District Council's Budget!
The Council is preparing its budget for 2013/14 which sets out the costs of delivering the Council's services. The Council aligns its budget to deliver the core services it provides and to meet its priorities for improving services as set out in the Council Plan.
Because of reduced central government funding and other cost pressures it is currently estimated that the Council will need to make additional savings of £334k over the following three years 2013/14 to 2015/16, of which £169k must be cut in 2013/14.
The Council's 2013/14 budget will be approved by the Council's Policy Committee on 12th February 2013 and by Full Council on 20th February 2013 when it will then be published.
We want to know whether you think that the Council spends your money in the most effective way and to tell us how you think we could spend it better.
The Budget Consultation commences Tuesday 4th September and closes Friday 26th October 2012. You can respond in the following ways:
