Swimming Lessons Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Customers from time to time ask us about how we manage the swimming lessons below is a list of our frequently asked questions. we regularly update this section with the popularly asked ones.


Q. How do I pay for lessons?

A. Lessons are in 12 week blocks and customers can choose to pay by cheque, debit/credit cards or by direct debit. Lessons cost £4.30/lesson. All lessons must be paid for in advance.

Q. What age can my child start swimming?

A. It is always good to start children swimming as soon as possible, but we take children from 4 years old (after their first term in school). However we do have special sessions for  and .

Q. Do parents get in the pool with the swimming lessons?

A. No, all of our teachers are also lifeguard qualified so that customers can relax whilst they are in the water. Parents are welcome to swim in the  or enjoy a  whilst they wait.

Q. How long does each lesson last?

A. 30 minutes

Q. When do you have swimming lessons?

A. We have swimming lessons on every weekday from 4.00pm up to 7.30pm and on Saturday mornings

Q. My child is ill can I have a refund?

A. We assess each case on individual merit, but for instances such as a cold or other general illnesses we do not offer refunds. We cannot offer refunds because we cannot re-sell this space to another child, this means we are able to reserve the slot for your child.

Q. How quickly will my child progress?

A. This is a really difficult question to answer because everyone develops skills at different rates, some children may only take one block to move up. However, some children may stay on the same stage/level for a number of blocks.
