Constitution of the Council

The Council's Constitution sets out the rules governing the Council's business.

Craven District Council's Constitution is divided into a number of Articles.  The Articles contain detailed procedures, rules, codes of practice and protocols covering such matters as the Council's financial and contractual procedural arrangements, the terms of reference of the Council and committees, the Members' Code of Conduct, and such like.  Copies of these documents are available in the list of downloads on the right hand side of this page.
