Garden Waste Collection Service to be suspended for the winter break

Craven District Council's garden waste collection service will be suspended in December for the winter break.

Residents are being asked to make the most of their final collections of the year.

These will take place on the week beginning November 21, for properties on the Week One schedule, and on the week beginning November 28 for properties on the Week Two schedule. The service will resume in March 2017.

As in previous years the council will again be providing a free collection of Christmas trees in January 2017, which will also include a one off collection of brown bins in mid-January. This will take place on January 16 for Week One collections and January 23 for Week Two collections. The deadline to request a free Christmas tree collection will be January 15.

Subscriptions to the garden waste collection service will be up for renewal next spring. Residents will receive details on how to renew their subscription in the new year.
