Major developments

Criteria for Major Developments

Major developments are those planning applications which meet the following criteria:

Residential - 10 or more dwellings, or if the number is not given a site area of more than 0.5 hectares.

Non-residential - 1000m² or more of floor space or a site area of more than 1 hectare.

The target time for determining major planning applications is 13 weeks.
