Care - at home
Care in your own home is offered to people who require assistance with personal care such as washing or dressing, or other practical daily tasks such as help with domestic chores like cooking and cleaning, or in some instances, help in managing finances.
Care - home assessment
The home assessment scheme is designed to carry out an assessment to determine individuals who may need help to overcome any difficulties with daily living tasks.
There are number of independent agencies who provide care that the County Council has approved and use depending on the need of the person. Social care services will provide care following an assessment of your needs.
