North Yorkshire Police regularly use the Community Messaging system to send out community messages, requests for information and alerts for local crimes/trends.

If you live in Craven and would like to receive community notifications please either register online at the address shown below or complete the registration form and return it to the police.

North Yorkshire Community Messaging is a free messaging system, that allows you to register to receive the latest crime notifications and community news happening in your local neighbourhood.

North Yorkshire Community Messaging allows you to decide when and how you are kept informed about the issues that matter to you.

Crime and Other Police Incidents, Rural Policing, Anti-Social Behaviour, Road Safety, Neighbourhood News and Events

  • You can choose how to receive your alerts:

Phone, email, text message or mobile app (launching soon)!

  • You can choose area(s):

School, home, places of work, elderly relatives
