Sandylands Sports Centre, Skipton

The main dry side sports facility in Skipton with a wide range of facilities and clubs.

The Centre has provided a variety of sporting facilities since 1984 and is used by sports clubs and the public.  You can either join an existing club or "pay'n'play" badminton, basketball, cricket, football, rugby, shooting, squash, table tennis, tennis, and a range of martial arts. The site also has a gym with health and fitness, aerobics and other classes.

Officially "The Coulthurst Craven Sports Centre", it originated from funds provided by the Coulthurst Trust and land held by the Sandylands Trustees. It is a registered charity. The Centre was further increased by the addition of land, buildings and car park formerly belonging to Skipton Lawn Tennis Club.

Sandylands Pitch

The Centre is managed by the Trustees three of whom are elected at the annual general meeting each year.
The remaining 11 Trustees being representatives of seven individual sports and including North Yorkshire County Council, Craven District Council and Skipton Town Council.
