Advice for new businesses

If you are thinking of starting your own business or have been trading for less than three years there is lots of advice and support available.

Specialist support is available for businesses in the early stages of development from:

  • one to one advice
  • a workshop programme covering such as HR, strategy, cash-flow forecasting, branding, marketing, innovation and R&D
  • grant funding

AD:VENTURE provides dedicated support to eligible pre-start, young and new businesses who have strong growth ambitions.  The ERDF programme offers a comprehensive and innovative mix of tailored business support, including one-to-one advice, expert mentoring, grants, professional workshops, finance brokerage, director networks and specialist sector advice.  The programme is generally aimed at businesses who supply to other businesses (B2B), but they can discuss this with you.  Visit call 0845 524 0210 or e-mail
