Waltonwrays Cemetery, Carleton Road, Skipton BD23 3BT

Public Transport

There are unmarked bus stops on either side of Carleton Road at the entrance to the cemetery, the nearest train station is Skipton Train Station 0.8 miles away on Broughton Road.

Disabled Parking

There are no designated disabled parking spaces at the site but there is space for 60 cars. Please ring in advance to discuss specific access needs.

Entrances

The Crematorium Chapel and Remembrance Chapel and Chapel Office are all situated at the centre of Waltonwrays Cemetery and all have level access.

The Remembrance Chapel has assisted doors.

Accessible Toilets

The Remembrance Chapel has an accessible unisex toilet.

Induction Loops/Audio

The lectern in the Crematorium Chapel is fitted with an induction loop system

Additional Information

The Crematorium Chapel can be used for cremation services, burial services and memorial services. Seating is available for up to 64 people with additional standing room and outside speakers.

The Remembrance Chapel houses the Book of Remembrance, Walton Gallery, Tree of Life, Book of Condolence, a waiting room and public toilets and baby changing facilities.

The Chapel Office is registered as a Safe Place under the North Yorkshire Safe Places Scheme which means that anyone who might need help and support when they are out and about in the community can call in to get assistance.
