Gym sessions

Welcome back to the gym!

Gym workout.

From 19th July you will not need to pre-book your gym session - We are going Free flow

We are increasing our capacity from 20 to 30 customers initially

In this period we will need to limit the number of users in the facility at any one time and also the amount of users and staff in the gym.

Your safety is still our priority

 ✔️NEW! Air purifiers installed in our gym & studio to reduce airborne germs /allergens and odors

✔️ We are encouraging our members to continue wearing face coverings within our building and to and from activities

✔️Sanitising hands and temp checks on entry encouraged

✔️ Please still “do your bit, clean your kit”  wiping down all equipment after use

✔️ Staff will continue to wear face coverings and have a lateral flow test twice a week across all our venues

✔️ All screens, sanitising stations, reduced touch points and ventilation of areas will remain in place

✔️ Heightened cleaning regimes will remain in place


 What’s changed?

✔️ Changing areas/cubicles/lockers are open fully

✔️ Majority of gym equipment will be back on the gym floor 

✔️ Increased capacity in the gym to 30 maximum w/c: 19th July 

✔️ Free-flow access (customers can come anytime but must swipe in on the fitness gate) Opening times 06:15-21:30 Weekdays, 8:15am-16:00 Weekends

✔️Traffic light system to show busy/quiet periods – gym floor/online/website

Before arriving for your Gym session

Please do not come to the facility if you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 (temperature, cough, difficulty breathing, or anosmia - loss of taste or smell).

You may be asked to wait a few minutes if we reach our maximum capacity of 30

On entry we ask you wear a face covering, sanitise your hands and take a temperature check (if you have a high temperature you should not enter the building

Please consider the following guidance:

Arrive ready to workout: Arrive with your clean gym kit on where possible. Gym Changing rooms and showers are open. Changing rooms will be open and the showers open. Toilets are available.  Once you have finished the gym , leave the gym as soon as you can by the nearest exit

Sanitise: When you enter and exit the centre please ensure to sanitise your hands and help us to keep cross contamination to a minimum. Wipe down all equipment used with sprays and blue roll provided 

Equipment: Only equipment  apart will be used. Please bring your own water bottle filled up and the water fountain will be available for refills. Don't bring a sweat towel into the gym, instead use the blue roll which will be provided.

Cleaning: Touch points of all equipment and any sweat must be cleaned down by customers, with sprays and blue roll provided. Please bin paper roll immediately and do not carry from machine to machine.

In and around the facility

There is a one-way system in place, please follow the signage.

 We ask that you follow directional signs in the centre.

On leaving the gym you will be directed to leave via the fire exit doors at the top of the gym by the free-weights, enabling our team to control the flow of users in and out of the building, also ensuring we start each session on time.

In the Gym

The maximum gym capacity will be initially increased from 20 to 30 on the 19th July 2021. 

People of different standards and abilities will use the gym. Please respect their right to enjoy the gym.

Do not make physical contact with other participants, respect their personal space.

Direction. Please follow the directional signs and move across to the appropriate side of the machines.

Space. Always maintain appropriate personal space social distance between yourself and another gym user and our staff.

On finishing your session

Please ensure you leave the building in a timely manner.

Let us know any feedback & When you leave the gym please bin all rubbish, blue roll and wear your face covering transitioning through corridors and changing areas/reception.
