Group Exercise Classes

Group Exercise Classes for all

Welcome back to Group Exercise!

Are you as excited to get back into the classes as we are?

Before you head to a class we need to make you aware that there will be some changes to how these sessions operate and also how we will ask you to use the facility.

These measures will help us to ensure the safety and health and well being of all our staff and facility users.

We have initially planned to leave all memberships frozen for the time being and operate all sessions on a pre-book basis. When distancing measures are sufficiently reduced we will re-evaluate our position.   

Book your Exercise Class 

When classes become available, you will need to book them online.

Classes will be pre-bookable up to 3 days in advance, classes are limited to fair usage policy

The class limit is now 9 customers maximum and must be pre-booked

We have created the ability for you to pre-book and if required pay for a time slot in one of our Exercise classes throughout the day.  Just select Make a Booking then press Classes or Class Timetable then pick the available classes and select Add to basket then tick to agree to the terms & conditions for bookings - and finally press confirm booking.  You will then receive a message Thank you your booking is now complete.  You will also receive a booking confirmation by email.

Bookings will be available online from 6.15am 3 days in advance (see timetable below)

If you do not already have a membership with us then sign up for a casual users' membership which will give you the ability to book and pre-pay online with us.  We are not accepting new memberships at this time.

Before arriving for your Exercise Class

Please do not come to the facility if you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 (temperature, cough, difficulty breathing, or anosmia - loss of taste or smell).

We will be asking you to queue outside of the building before your session. Where possible arrive no more than 5 minutes before your session to keep the queue to a minimum and if you are early then please wait in your car. Please Queue outside until a member of staff takes your register and allows you entry.

On entry a register will be taken and your temperature will be taken before access is allowed (if you have a high temperature you will be refused access).

Please consider the following guidance:

Arrive ready to workout: Arrive with your clean workout clothing and footwear on. Dry Changing rooms and showers will not be open currently. Toilets will be available.  Once you have finished the exercise class ,please ensure you clean down all equipment used thoroughly and bin the blue roll.  Please vacate the Studio and centre as soon as you can by the main entrance, avoiding congregating in groups

Sanitise: When you enter the centre please ensure to sanitise your hands and help us to keep cross contamination to a minimum. Wipe down all equipment used with sprays and blue towel provided and bin straight after cleaning each piece of equipment. 

Equipment: Only equipment 2m apart will be used. Please bring your own water bottle filled up or purchase from the vending machine or cafe before class. Don't bring a sweat towel into the Studio or Gym, instead use the blue roll which will be provided.

Cleaning: Touch points of all equipment and any sweat must be cleaned down by customers, with sprays and blue roll provided. Please bin paper roll immediately.

Extra signage regarding social distancing will be in place in the centre and studio

Maximum Studio capacity is 10 customers. 

In and around the facility

There is a one-way system in place, please follow the signage.

You will enter the building as normal at your designated session time. You will not be permitted to enter earlier than the start time. We ask that you follow directional signs in the centre.

On leaving the Studio you will be directed to leave via the main entrance observing social distancing and floor signage.

In the Studio

Each customer will have a 2m x 2m box to exercise within , please keep within this area only

No sweat Towels allowed

You do not need to wear a mask and we do not recommend you do whilst exercising.

People of different standards and abilities will use the classes. Please respect their right to enjoy the class.

Do not make physical contact with other participants or the instructor.

Direction. Please follow the directional signs around the centre, respect other users and our staff.

Space. Always maintain appropriate social distance between yourself and another class user and our staff.


On finishing your exercise class

Please ensure you leave the building in a timely manner.

Instructors will notify you when your session has ended and we would ask that you leave the Studio once you have cleaned the equipment used including mats, weights etc. Please take all rubbish with you.  Our showers are open for essential use only we ask that you shower at home where possible. This will help to keep the time used at the centre to a minimum and the changeover time can be maintained. 

When you leave the studio you are asked to leave either via the nearest fire exit or via the main entrance observing  floor signage and social distancing.
